I said it out loud to my husband a couple of weeks ago. I want to blog. I want to write. I want to let people, specifically women young and old, know that it's ok. I started a list of things that are ok and we'll make it through that list together.
But, first, let me tell you about me and my world. I promise not to make this too long.
I am a Negaunee, Michigan girl. A Bell Baby (meaning I was born at Bell Memorial in Ishpeming). My parents are Yoopers and I can trace my Yooperdom to when my Great-Great-Great Grandparents immigrated. I'm currently working on my Family Tree through Ancestry®. I am sticking with the parents of the parents of the parents route. That's another post for another time.
I have a brother who has 3 kiddos, a wife, and a cute house. I admire him. I admire the man he is and I adore his children.
My journey to where I am hasn't been easy and has had its share of hills and valleys. I've had more jobs than someone in their early to mid 40s should. Actually, I'm going to change that statement. I have had more jobs than someone in their early to mid 40s probably has, but each one has given me experience and growth.
In no particular order, I am a wife, a mom, a fitness professional, a continuous student, a radio personality, an Arbonne™ Independent Consultant. We'll travel the paths together, I'll give you guidance and insight as we go.
But, why the blog? The Blog came to mind after a variety of conversations with people about influencers and what they represent in Social Media. My goal is not to be an influencer, but to give you an honest to goodness reality check and to help make you think about things we encounter in our daily worlds.
Are you ready? Here we go....
